What
is Snail Mail?
"Snail
mail" is online language for the old-fashioned slower type
of mail delivery where you send a letter or package through
the traditional United States Post Office. The kind of mail
delivery that comes in your mailbox by a mailman /carrier or
post office box in your local United States Post Office (USPS).
There
are other kinds of Internet remailers that unlike snail mail
remail, they remail email instead of traditional letters, cards
and packages. Their remailer type of remail is strictly for
sending anonymous email. We do not remail email and have no
intentions of going in that direction.
The
Internet has changed the way we get and deliver mail today,
but there is still a place for snail mail, like when you want
to send an item or something original, including paperwork with
original signatures or handwriting, money orders, photos, etc.
Email just doesn't replace the personal warmth and touch of
a handwritten scented love letter sent by snail mail.
